Deputy Prime Minister Julia Gillard, Monsignor David Cappo and Jane Lomax-Smith visited Gawler House Enterprise Centre on Thursday April 2. They met with the Gawler 15 Regional VET Program of Hospitality Kitchen Operations students and the FLO students who are also involved in Literacy and Numeracy classes. They spoke to students and staff from Gawler House, who briefed the official guests on the programs offered, assessments and their achievements.

The guests were very pleased to see the students in action. 24 students of G15 served approximately 15 guests with morning tea. They were proud to show off their barista skills with a constant supply of varied types of coffees. Students were also involved in preparing and serving lunch to interstate and local guests at the Gawler Council Chambers.
