Our curriculum is based on the eight areas of the South Australian Curriculum Standards and Accountability Framework and is designed to emphasise high expectations, acknowledge and celebrate achievement and develop each student to their maximum potential.

 

We believe in a culture of enthusiasm and optimism where students are encouraged to achieve their greatest potential.  

 

We aim to:

provide a supportive environment in which students can achieve their greatest potential.

make life long learning attractive to the school community.

bullet

provide pathways that are relevant and suited to students needs and aspirations.

 

How:

By means of ongoing school curriculum, monitoring, research and reform.

The realisation of Social Justice Strategies which value difference and tolerance, i.e. initiatives to support Students at Risk 8-13.

bullet

Developing and maintaining positive relationships.

bullet

Developing a safe environment that discourages harassment and violence.

bullet

Providing personal, course and vocational counselling and information.

bullet

Increased Information Communications Technology Professional Development, for staff to integrate learning technologies across the curriculum.

bullet

Publishing individual curriculum area action plans with targets and measurable outcomes.
